Paul Doros, “Richly Ornamental: Tiffany's ‘Fancy Goods’ & Accessories” (2025) is particularly relevant. Doros explains that Tiffany Studios used the term “Fancy Goods” by 1906, although such objects were produced earlier. The firm's foundry was capable of high-quality bronze casting, and inkstands and powder boxes appeared in Tiffany's important 1899 Grafton Gallery exhibition. Most interestingly, Doros connects the development of these portable Favrile-glass-and-metal objects with Clara Driscoll, who headed the Women's Glass Cutting Department.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art, “Louis Comfort Tiffany (1848–1933)” provides a concise scholarly overview of Tiffany's extraordinarily broad production—glass, pottery, metalwork, enamels, jewelry, mosaics and interiors—and is useful introductory reading for staff or docents.
