Join us for a special ZMA Talks in conjunction with ZMA exhibition Howard Chandler Christy: A Golden Age Master from the Trembly Family Collection.
Speakers: Jaye and Melodie Hayes
Jaye and Melodie are the current owners of the Howard Chandler Christy (The Barracks) property just south of Duncan Falls. They are life-long admirers and collectors of Christy art and memorabilia. The property was purchased by Jaye’s grandparents in the 1940s and has remained in the family since then. Although the original home was claimed by fire, the studio remains in the upper level of the large barn built by Christy. Jaye and Melodie consider themselves to be “Keepers of the Christy Flame” and welcome visitors to The Barracks by appointment.
Hear about the artist from two Christy enthusiasts and get a rare glimpse at their memorabilia collection!
