Join us Friday, August 4, 2–8 pm, and Saturday, August 5, 11 am– 8 pm, at the ZMA’s Children’s Art Tent during the 2017 Y-Bridge Arts Festival, located at Zane’s Landing Park. Both days you and the entire family will enjoy art activities, hands-on demonstrations, fine art, live music, food, and drinks. Stop by and create fun projects to take home, snap a photo of yourself as Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa or Edvard Munch’s The Scream, or take part in our collaborative community art project.

Free programs for all ages and skill levels. Please allow about fifteen minutes for most activities.
Friday, August 4
2 pm: Have your face painted by the ZMA’s Beaux Arts Club.
4 pm: Visit with animals from The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium.
5 pm: Create the illusion of stained glass using common, everyday materials.
6 pm: Collage with elements of nature.
7 pm: Stitch an art journal with colored paper and recycled materials.
Saturday, August 5
11 am: Design a tassel and bead necklace.
12 pm: Have your face painted with the ZMA’s Beaux Arts Club.
12 pm: Learn improv comedy techniques from the Sparks!! Junior Varsity Team.
2 pm: Spirited Creations Painting Party.
3 pm: Spirited Creations Painting Party.
4:30 pm: Sculpt an air-dry clay vessel or pendant.
6 pm: Transform an ordinary rock into a travel-size animal friend.
7 pm: Create monoprints and experiment with color.
