ART VOYAGERS | Clay Camp for K–3rd Graders

Summer-Camp-Image-website.jpg

Journey throughout time and across the vast continent of Africa to create a wide variety of clay projects in this exciting one-week summer camp. Unearth the secrets behind the burial customs of Ancient Egypt and build a sarcophagus fit for an ancient pharaoh, design clay beads inspired by Zulu love letter necklaces, create textured, Nigerian pottery, and sculpt dynamic figures inspired by Chiwara headdresses. Use a variety of different clays and sculpting techniques, create several three-dimensional works of art, and earn stamps for your Art Voyagers Passport.
