A BOOK APART | Steal Like an Artist: 10 Things Nobody Told You About Being Creative by Austin Kleon

Discover how creativity builds on the ideas that came before. In this engaging book discussion, participants will explore Steal Like an Artist, a lively and inspiring look at how artists transform influence into original work. Together, we’ll discuss the book’s big ideas about creativity and then take a closer look at artworks on view at the museum that reveal how artists have borrowed, reimagined, and reinvented artistic traditions over time. Through conversation and close looking, discover how inspiration from the past continues to spark new creative possibilities today.

This event takes at the ZMA in the Longaberger Art Research Library.
