A BOOK APART: Mrs. Whistler

Join us in reading Matthew Plampin’s Mrs. Whistler and get lost in Victorian-era London. Follow the life of an artist’s muse and wife through this tale of sacrifice and independence. Join ZMA docent Peggy Gilchrist in discussing this fun and exciting work of historical fiction inspired by the life of 19th century artist James McNeill Whistler. This program is being held in conjunction with special fall exhibition An American in Venice | James McNeill Whistler and His Legacy.
