PERSPECTIVE LECTURES
The Zanesville Museum of Art, with the generous support of the Ohio Arts Council, is pleased to present a series of engaging lectures in conjunction with this spring’s exhibition cycle.

AN AFFAIR WITH BEAUTY | The Mystique of Howard Chandler Christy

James Head, author of The Magic of Youth, will be at the museum for a book signing and to share the story behind his research on Howard Chandler Christy. This book is the first of a biographical trilogy, An Affair with Beauty, that explores the life of the Ohio-born artist. Mr. Head is a partner at Williams Mullen law firm in Tysons, Virginia. In addition to representing individuals and businesses, Mr. Head advises collectors of art and antiques.

Mr. Head will also speak at Christy’s Muskingum River estate, the Barracks, on Saturday, June 18, 2016. Join us at the ZMA on Friday then visit the Barracks on Saturday to learn more about Christy’s incredible legacy.
