Children’s Drawing Contest: Zanesville and Beyond

Draw your favorite locations in and around Zanesville. Artists throughout time have been inspired by special places and communities. See how Venice inspired beautiful artwork in the ZMA’s special fall exhibition An American in Venice | James McNeill Whistler and His Legacy and show us how your hometown inspires you! Enter for a chance to win exciting prizes and have your masterpiece displayed at the ZMA!

HOW TO ENTER:
1. Draw your favorite location or building in your hometown. Get creative and have fun with it!

2. Have a parent/guardian join the ZMA’s Facebook group, Zanesville Museum of Art Programs and Events.

3. Have a parent/guardian post a picture of your completed drawing in the ZMA’s Facebook group, Zanesville Museum of Art Programs and Events.

4. Fill out entry form. Forms may be picked up at the ZMA or downloaded HERE.

5. Turn in your drawing and entry form at the ZMA so your masterpiece can be displayed at the ZMA for the month of December.

RULES:

This contest is open to children 18 and under. Participants must have entry form completed to be considered for the contest. The winner will be chosen by ZMA staff and announced on Facebook in the Zanesville Museum of Art Programs and Events group on Wednesday, November 20, 2019. All entries must be received no later than Tuesday, November 19, 2019.

PRIZES:

One winner will receive a free ZMA Household Membership, free Children’s Programs for all of 2020, and a gift basket stuffed with fun art materials. In addition, the winner and several honorable mentions will be displayed in the Robert and Leona Feller’s Gallery in December. All other entries will be displayed in the Education Classrooms.
